International Conference of Reformed Churches

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England and Wales (EPCEW) is a member of an international organisation called the International Conference of Reformed Churches (ICRC), a body of like minded churches from around the world. It is not a “super denomination”, but exists for mutual support and encouragement, and to engage in mission work. The next full ICRC conference is set for 2009, to be hosted by the Reformed Churches of New Zealand, in Christchurch. The host church will be the Reformed Church of Bishopdale, Christchurch, South Island.

Conference 2009

The Corresponding Secretary, Rev C Van Spronsen writes:

In consultation with some members, as well as with the Missions Committee, there has been an expansion of the previously announced presentations and subheadings.   We were fortunate to find Dr. Mohan Chacko, principal of the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Dehra Dun, India, willing to also give a presentation on the chosen theme, looking at the challenges in the Asian-Pacific Context.

Theme:   The Vitality of the Reformed Faith”
