Sunday School (& Crèche)
We run Sunday School most weeks during term time. Children are welcome to all of our services and we can cope with some background noise. Indeed, there are times that you may need to explain something to them. Children stay in with us for most of the service and there is a specific children’s talk. During the sermon, there is a manned crèche and age appropriate teaching for primary school age children in the 11:30am service. There is no Sunday school in the 6pm service, but you’ll find a number of younger ones there anyway. If a very small one (baby or toddler) really isn’t coping, you’re welcome to take them into the other room, before the manned crèche starts.
We’re committed to helping students to integrate into the normal life of the church family. We also recognise that it’s a time of great change as they begin to leave home, so we are keen to encourage them in their discipleship and witness on campus and beyond, and to be ready for walking with Christ wherever he takes them next.
Six times a year, we meet on Saturday mornings in Hall Street. We have the Bible taught, and sing related songs, as well as: themed games and crafts. Saturday Club is for primary school aged children and we have children coming from other churches and those who currently don’t go anywhere.
GAP (God’s Amazing Promises): For 11+
We meet fortnightly in term time in Hall Street at 7:15pm on Sunday, straight after the 6pm service. We each some food and work our way through God’s Amazing Promises through the Bible’s storyline.
Tiny Tot Time
We run Wednesdays in term time, 10am-11:30am in Hall Street. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and other carers, from an array of nations come with their toddlers for a cuppa, a grown up chat and some activities for the kids. We also have a Bible story time and singing time. Throughout the year we have various on off events, e.g. a Teddy Bear’s picnic in the countryside.
