[You can find the current arrangements here]
First of all, thank you all for helping us by cooperating with various rules and restrictions. As elders, we have sought to follow both the laws and guidelines regarding covid regulations and for practical reasons some of our smaller meetings have been online. Now that the government as set its roadmap out, we feel that it is appropriate to do something similar. We will still follow legal requirements but will start to relax some of the guidance.
Booking in, masks and distancing
At the moment masks and distancing are legal requirements. Because of our numbers and building size that means you will still need to book in (if you have not done this before contact us). We hope that from the 27th June that this will no longer be the case, we will assess this nearer the time
2nd & 9th May
We will introduce one hymn that will sing together in the 11:30am service (you will still need to be masked). The 6pm service will still be on zoom and streamed to YouTube.
From 16th May
We resume a normal order of service singing a typical number of hymns in the 11:30am service. Although we will still stream this, we will no longer start with the hymn video. 6pm still on zoom/YouTube.
Darren is away. The 11:30am service will be as per normal but the evening will be at 5pm where we will join Oxford Presbyterian online here.
From 6th June
We will restart 6pm back in Hall Street. This will be a normal order of service with singing. Masks and distancing (therefore booking in) will still be required.
We resumed regular communion a little while ago. Normally we take communion on the 2nd (am) and 5th (pm) Sundays of the month. For now we are still doing this in a covid secure manner, as explained here.
Other significant dates
We have an online guest event on 13th May, 8pm see details here. Our AGM will be held in Hall Street on 20th May, 8pm.
